Thursday, February 11th, 6:30 – 8:30 pm, 100 McCaul, room 230

Presented in collaboration by the OCC and OCAD's Material Art & Design Program,  Melanie Egan (Harbourfront), Eric Nay (OCAD), Julie Nicholson (MADE), Lily Yung (Jewellery Artist), and Susan Warner Keene (Paper and Textile Artist) will discuss craft, its relationship to art and design, and the shifting directions of the disciplines.

Quilt of Possibilities

In celebration of the fifth anniversary of Ontario's Greenbelt, the Ontario Crafts Council (OCC) and the Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation (GBF) are working together to develop a community quilt celebrating this diverse and vibrant green space.

We are seeking interest from craftspeople, artists, community groups and guilds to submit a handcrafted square to be included in the quilt.

An exhibition of fine sterling silver objects to adorn the home and body by Susan Watson Ellis & Todd Jeffrey Ellis. Together the works strive to reflect a longing to create beautiful handmade works that will stand the test of time - a quiet revolution against mass produced soulless objects.
